Welcome to the Common Ground Youth Coalition‘s website!

The CGYC is an effort to convene youth groups and build partnerships by understanding differences and acting on commonalities.

We are in the preliminary stages of our work and reaching out to a number of young change-makers and social entrepreneurs as well as youth organizations and movements to discover how best to shape this new platform.

On January 12, 2011, 27 organizations and individuals from across the political spectrum met to discuss the creation of a Youth Coalition.  Working together, they wrote the mission statement for the Coalition: Youth bringing people together for dialog and action on issues that impact young people.  Click here to see a full list of participants.

To help develop the network we have interviewed some of the top young leaders in the country to showcase their work and demonstrate the potential of young people.
